QuickApp is a web-based ‘point of sale’ application that streamlines the application submission and acquisition process by providing an electronic delivery of data in real time to the GA/Carrier. It bridges data from a rating engine, such as FSC, to assist brokers and agents to drastically reduce the number of manual steps. QuickApp eliminates multiple data entries, ensures key fields are filled in, and validates the data. It automatically populates the application form (ACORD or company specific), prints completed application form for client signature and electronically submits data and completed application to the underwriters for review and binding.

QuickApp receives information received on all drivers from the rating engine and displays it for review. Fields that are used for rating purposes are grayed out, so they can’t be modified any more. Rest of the fields can be edited, if needed. Reviewing this screen is optional.

Review policy coverage summary

This screen list all the various policies and programs and displays the company name, term, premium, and the type of coverage or plan. For additional details one can click on the appropriate link.



Get answers to additional underwriting questions

On this screen underwriting questions, specific to the policy selected, are displayed. If one or more questions are not answered, a bar is highlighted on the question to indicate that it is a required field and needs to be answered. An experienced producer can skip the earlier screens and proceed from this screen on.




See details of the various payment plans

This screen gives the various payment plans – direct billed, pay in full or premium finance, depending on the policy type. It also displays a breakdown of premiums, fees and down payment.

 

 


One place for brokers to download any needed forms

This screen is meant for brokers. Here they can store an electronic version of all the necessary forms and retrieve them when needed. This increases their efficiency and ensures that all necessary paperwork is handled. The application is then submitted for processing.

 




Find all your applications in one place

After the applications are processed, a PDF copy of those applications and required forms along with a fax cover page for each policy or plan is stored here. Policy details can be viewed by clicking on their respective links.

 

 

 

Populate and submit applications electronically

QuickApp issues the electronically transmitted application a Transmission Control Number. The transmission record cover page and the application contain a barcode for electronic indexing of faxed documents. Thus signed applications can be faxed and this copy is automatically routed to the document management system. If a GA/Carrier requires applications with wet signature, their receipt at the GA/Carrier is confirmed by scanning the bar code with a scanner linked to the policy management system.
